Not that I know of.

Typically, usb floppy drives come as a single unit. The only usb drive
enclosure I know of is for ide drives (maybe scsi too), but in either
case the answer is no. The only way you'd be able to get a 5.25 floppy
drive into a usb enclosure is if the enclosure had a floppy interface,
and if you were able to get hold of a floppy ribbon that still had the
old card-slot floppy connectors on it.

Hello list,

Is there such a thing as a 5.25 inch floppy drive with a USB interface?
If not, could such a drive (I have two old ones) be installed into a USB
drive enclosure?

Thanks.

Mike Keithley

I have a 5.25 floppy drive, in an external case, that connects via serial,
and perhaps you could use a serial to U S B converter with a setup like
that.

I stand to be corrected, but this sounds like something that's
out-dated, and wouldn't be found on a computer store shelf today. If
that's so, then the answer is still no, it can't be done, for all
intents and purposes.
