  To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.

The speakup users guide recommends creating this if you are building software
speech, but It can't be registered in a 2.6 kernel.  Furthermore, It isn't
necessary to hear software speech with speakup so what is the purpose of
creating /dev/synth?
