Good command line cd players

Good command line cd players

I'm using Debian here, if it matters and want a good command-line or decent
curses,blind-friendly, cd playing app which allows you to play all tracks of a
cd without typing the trackname.  Cdcd is difficult for me because I can't
spell, let alone, remember the titles of songs.  Thanks

I use a little thing called Dcd...As for where I got it, I don't remember since it was a while ago. Its basically a program where you type the tracknumber, and it forks into the background.

You don't have to type tracknames in cdcd to play the whole cd. You just 
type play. And if you are trying to find a song, you can just type next to 
go to the next track if you are in cdcd or cdcd next if you are running it 
in the background. You can also go to a track by number so I don't really 
think your spelling should be an issue. You can even use partial 
tracknames. You can set it up to search for info about cds or you can set 
it up to not use the internet to do a database. I'm not necessarily trying 
to sell you on cdcd but i am wondering if you understand all your options 
with it. I also use cdplay sometimes.

When I type play, that is cdcd play with a space between cdcd and play, it gets
the cddb info then returns me back to my shell prompt.  Is that normal?Does it
just go into the background?  According to aumix my cd volume is set to
something which would give me noise.  So if my behavior is normal let me know
and I'll have to check the cable.  Sound on my system does work.  btw, no I
didn't understand my options so that explanation was helpfull.

Hi.  To play all tracks with cdcd, just insert the disk and type:

cdcd play
