Hi all.
I've got a machine here with a soundblaster pro card. Running linux
2.4.21, and I'll be using the kernel oss sound drivers for now at
least. Is this card supported by the soundblaster driver
(CONFIG_SOUND_SB), or is it supported by some other driver?
One thing that is confusing me here is that the card's dsp interface
is at IRQ 5, but it also has a mpu401 IRQ at 9, with no i_o port for
the mpu interface. However, I see no option for the sb driver to let
me enter in an IRQ for the mpu401 interface.
Any input would be appreciated.

P.S., this card also has a cd-rom drive interface for one of those old
drives with proprietary interfaces, which I will also be using.

yes I'm pretty sure this card is supported by the sb module.
this is the same driver that supports the sb16. the only problem with
it is It won't use full duplex on my sb16.

It's been years since I used the kernel oss drivers, but you may need to
answer yes to an additional question if you want mpu401 support. You may
want to build the sound drivers as modules so that you could experiment
with the different parameters w/o having to reboot your computer each time.
There are pretty good docs on how to install the supplied sound modules.
Again, unless you're planning to use the midi port to connect, say, a midi
keyboard, you shouldn't need to worry about the mpu401 interface.

You mentioned that full duplex isn't supported on your sb16. What does that
mean? A machine I'm converting to linux has an sb16 so I'm interested.
