Hello,
Anhyone had any experience with this device? It is a 20 gb usb drive with
a built-in mp3 player/recorder. I'm sure the hard-drive is accessible from
linux. I'm interested how accessible the unit itself is without being able
to read the display.

Works very well. There are some options that are kind of hard to get to, but
most of the functions (selecting songs, playing, etc.) are very usable. The
nice thing about this device is that it acts just like a USB hard drive, so
you don't need any special software to use it. I used to have an Archos mp3
player, which is the same as the recorder minus the microphone. I now have
an archos jukebox FM recorder, which is the same as the jukebox recorder
with the addition of an FM radio and USB 2.0 support.

I soon gave up on their Ondio pocket device, so wouldn't expect their
jukebox device to be any easier.
I just use the cl tools to produce the jukebox functionality on the
Linux machine, you know that's accessible. There are even dedicated
jukebox packages out there.
All you need is a real amp and speakers hooked in the back of the
sound card.
GA!
