Hi all,
I'm not sure if this bug has come up at all before, but I thought I'd just
let someone know.
If you boot a kernel (with speakup compiled in) and it can't find the
specified root device, then speakup seems to do something strange with
speech. What happens is that if you go up and down lines with the cursor it
will read the first 1 second or so and then will just stop, like the synth
got a shutup command. This has happened in all the 2.5 + 2.6-test kernels
but I can't be sure if it was just speakup2 that did it.
And this happens with more than one synth, I have experienced this with both
bns and dtlk.

Thanks
Mick
