Speakup compilation problems

I'm running kernel 2.4.21 under Debian, with lowlatency/preemptive
kernel patches applied. This morning I backed up my working source tree,
grabbed Speakup CVS, applied the patches successfully with no rejects,
but when trying to build I get the following error:

This doesn't happen on the pre-Speakup tree. Any ideas what might be
causing this? Is there any additional information I can provide?

I suspect you will need to ask the folks responcible for the low
latency patches.  I have not seen that undefined function and I am
also running 2.4.21 with speakup cvs.  The error is either from those
patches or from part of linux I don't typically use.
