Is there a problem with the archives? Usually I can find messages i've written
there very shortly after I post them; sometimes I check there to make sure I
haven't missed a reply. But two messages I sent recently, on May 18 and I think
yesterday, aren't anywhere in the archives. I got replies to the May 18th one so
I know it posted.
Sorry if this has been discussed and I missed it; I didn't find anything about
it in the archives--lol!

Cheryl,
I've had a similar thing happen to me a couple times. In my case I was set
to not receive messages. When I changed this setting it seemed to work
better. If this isn't the cause, Kirk may have inserted a random messages
trasher <grin>.

Hi chris and all:
No, I'm receiving my own messages from speakup; some of them just aren't
appearing in the archives.
Fine, Kirk, set your trasher to eat my messages instead of archiving them;
someday I'll write a historic, fabulous, brilliant email work of art to this
list that everybody will forget to save and
then be demanding to have again. then you'll be sorry!!!
Now as to when I'm going to produce this never-to-be-forgotten gem, don't hold
your breath!!! But it could happen; strange things do happen.
Cheryl

Please no flames. I honestly don't know. Where are the archives for this
list? I am having patch failures with speakup and 2.2.19 kernel and I'm
sur i'ts been talked about but at the time it didn't mean much to me since
I was not using that kernel but now it is, so I would rather just read the
archives in case it has been covered.
