for anyone who doesn't know,
there are a bunch of linux tips/tricks on www.linux.com's tuneup section.
there are more out there, since
the number of linux pages on google are
greater than windows ones, last time i checked.

Hello. Another great source is the Linux Gazette. It is a web-based ezine
so it is accessible. The graphics are minimal and they do not use things
like Javascript or Java. All issues are readable online or may be
downloaded. Go to:
http://www.linuxgazette.com/
or ftp://ftp.ssc.com/pub/lg/ to download.
