uml question

uml question

Hello list,
I was wondering... I have uml going, and need to attach the login or the tty to my current tty so I can see what's going on.
If I set con1 to tty7 etc, is there a way to attach that to a pts?

p.s.
I got packman.static and installed base-devel and base, which went fine. I 
moved that over to an ext3 loopback partition, umounted, and did something 
like: ./linux ubd=~/.arch to get going. i see cron initialized ok, but it's 
not showing an actual login console.
