Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a hardware synthesizer to buy. I found a dectalk express
on ebay, but it comes with no cables. Does anyone have a better solution
or can perhaps provide the necessary cables andAC Adaptor I can use?
Thankyou,
Alonzo

Greetings!
I'm trying to install Linux from Scratch, and would like to know from where
I can download the latest version/patch of Speakup. I found my way to what
I believe is the correct git repository, but so fare google has not shown me
a place from which simply to bring down the relevant source. Since the LFS
live CD doesn't seem to have git (or maybe it's just that I know not what
I['m doing), I'm hoping I can download the Speakup source the way I
downloaded much of what the LFS folks instruct one to download.
Is this something I can do? I'll be grateful for any pointers to the right
place, or to the best course of action. Thanks!

You can build speakup as modules so it's just a matter of getting the
sources from git and then building the modules. It'd be better to use
GRML as a host than the LFS live CD as that is unmaintained and GRML
already has git and everything else you're going to need. But if you
want to use the LFS live CD you can do that too you'll just have to look
at the BLFS book for the directions to install git from the sources and
then go from there. If you need further assistance just send a note and
I'll see what I can do to help.
