Hi all,
I need to set up a proxy server to use with lynx, and so apt-get can get
through my college firewall for updates. How do I go about setting this
up please?
Cheers.

To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.
You can configure apt-get to use a proxy server in /etc/apt/apt.conf
Set the http_proxy to a proxy server address. But I don't think you
need to set up a proxy server, you just need to find one that works
and configure your apt-get to use it.
