Hi listers. I've been doing some research into hardware synths for
speakup, and found that the DoubleTalk seems to be going strong, with
new software still being released for it. Just take a look at
www.rcsys.com.
I can also see why the DoubleTalk is supported well under Linux, the
specs are readily available! And its also nice and cheap! Sure, its not
a Dectalk, but its still around, which quite surprised me.
Just thought I'd share that bit of info.

Yes,
that is a pity. I am trying to make an Eurovocs, Infovox and a Keynote
Gold working since several weeks, but I can't find any specs about the
protocol used, say, to switch the voice. Any help appreciated!
