Hi, Kirk. If you wouldn't mind is it possible I can view these docs as well?
I've been gearing up to design speech drivers for Gnome speech, but finding
documentation for eash synth is like pulling hens teeth.
Every company wants a NDA, and that is impossible since Gnome is a open
source project.
Any info you can share with me dealing with Keynote or any other synths is
greatly welcome. Thanks.

Hi All,
There are no plans to support the keynote gold synths under speakup right?
I have a keynote gold synth and am just wondering if this is completely
useless under linux
Explorer has caused a general protection fault in module kernel32.dll. I'm
sick of Winblows!

Hi there Alex.
As far as I know the Keynote Gold synth is not listed as a supported
synth on speakup's internet site.
Further, I seem to remember that the thread of the keynote synth, was
discussed on this list several months ago and if memory serves correctly
as it sometimes doesn't someone mentioned that the info needed to write
a driver for it wasn't freely available either and that one would need
to sign a non-disclosure agreement with its manufacturer to obtain any
useful information.
I'm sorry I don't remember exactly who contributed what to the thread
but I seem to remember that a computer science student had asked about
it and I don't know if he/she is still on the list and or if they had
any level of success obtaining any info from the synth's manufacturer
and writing a driver.
Hth.

Yes, I remember that thread, but don't remember what the outcome was.

I do plan on writing drivers to support the Keynote family of synths.
I have the docs; it's just a matter of time.

While on the subject of synthesisers, has any progress been made in
getting specs for the tripple talk? I recall the manuafactureer is
another one of those stingy propriatary bastards.

Someone on the blindy list said that the manufacture would like to see a
linux driver and would release the specs, I'll ask him about that

The TrippleTalk folks have been pretty good recently answering
questions. We have been successful talking to the usb TrippleTalk and
are working on a standard device driver for it.

Hi all. I'm trying to get Trippletalk specs from this guy on Blindy list
who claims to have them, but so far no luck.
microsoft dialogue
This company has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, delete winblows and install linux
