Hi,
Does anyone have any idea of what a Dectalk pc2 isa card is worth? Do any
vendors have any sort of exchange program? Are Dectalks still being
manufactured? I could wax poetic about the speech quality, but it still
doesn't make it anything but an ISA card.
Cecil

There are still some around. Promblem is getting a computer that will
accommodate the card. Got linux and speak up to work fine with one at
my old office.

I know the express is still made but not sure about the pc. the
original dectalk stopped being made in 1985 or so so I think the
express may be the only one still manufactured.

Actually I am not sure about this.
I know that G. W. Micro still sells new dec pc cards, so unless they
bought a ton of them someone may still be making them, I believe that the
work is still done in boston?
I do know you can still get cables and the like from there as i just did
for my dec express a couple of months back.
