linux?
What ssoftware should be used to send the braille to an embosser?

Hi. I may be wrong but I think nfbtrans can be built under linux. I seem
to remember something about changing the case of the file names in the
archive to lower case for it to work but I don't remember if there were any
other modifications.

Hi all,
Danny, there are two translators that I know of. The best one is TBRL
by Chuck Hollenbeck and I don't have the URL for it. Next is NFBTrans
which has a Linux version and has a back translator which TBRL doesn't
have yet.

The URL for Turbo Braille is:
http://www.mhonline.net/~chuckh/tbrl-0.5.tar.gz
Some day it should have a back translator and a decent manual,
and there should be world peace too!

Hi all,
<smiling> Hey, if I keep praying, I know we'll get world peace.
Maybe if I ask about the back translator, that will come too. It
would be nice to be able to use one program for everything, is all. I
get books from Web-Braille, and because I don't have a note-taker yet,
I have to back translate 'em in order to read them. It would just
make life simpler is all.
Hey, if you want a writer for your manual, I can put words together.
So, ...
