Hi Chuck. Sorry about the last post, didn't see your reply. Are there any major performance improvements in beta12 from beta9? I'll look in the changelog, but just as a user, do you notice any difference in playback performance for example?

I went only to beta11 instead of beta12 and have not noticed any
differences. Last time I looked, the oss compatibility package
for alsa only went to beta11, so I upgraded to that version for
all the packages.
