help with apache and mysql and php linking?

Hello,
I know in order to do this, is to just load a couple modules.
the problem, is I did this on windows, and it worked good.
I can't figure out which fiiles to edit, and where the modules are to load.
I have apache 2, mysql 4, and php4.
Any suggestions are really appriciated with this one.

You need to install the apache php module which under debeian is a 
seperate package from php.
Just use the phpinfo function is a small php file in your apache document 
root directory to test if apache's php support works.
