Hello, listers!
How do I update system environment after certain changes have been appplied?
Say, if I do "netconfig" in Slackware. Is there any way for me to have
system reread my changes without rebooting? I tried

init q

telinit 3

but nothing helps.

I would appreciate any hints.
Regards,
VIc

Depends on the programs involved -- each program's man pages will tell
you how to update if its config files have changed, sometimes you need
to restart them, and sometimes you can kill them with -sighhup and
they will read their config files.
