Hi folks, because linux-speakup.org has moved to a new network the
checkout scripts you have will not work anymore.  You need to either
download a new script from the linux-speakup.org web site or just edit
the one you currently have.  To edit your current script just replace
bumpy.braille.uwo.ca with linux-speakup.org and you should be fine.

I have the 1.00 version of speakup. I'm wondering, do I need to run the
checkout script to get the updates for it like I've done in the past or
not, and if so, did the 1.00 version come with it already or do I need to
go and get it again?

There is a checkout script inside the speakup 1.00 directory or at least I
think there is:) I'm not on my home machine right now so can verify this
for sure.  What I can't remember for sure is if you have to run it from
within the linux source tree some place or not.
