I'm looking for some informative linux audio, for two reasons, A: to listen to and learn from, and B: to give me something to do in the middle of the night <grin>. I've got matt campbell's work (all of it), but still haven't found Joe Norton's slackware nstallation tuturial. Could anyone give me any sights that I could go to and find some audio? I would espicially love some more speakup audio. [-- Attachment #2: Type: text/html, Size: 797 bytes --] ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread

I believe that tutorial is in there, unless the link is broken. But I know that the link is there at least, smile! Good luck. Do you mean the link to the presentation that has the series on how to set up a sound card under Linux? Because the last time I checked about 2 months ago it still worked. I'll check the link and if it works I'll post the exact date to listen to on the list. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ameer Armaly To: speakup@braille.uwo.ca Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2002 7:16 PM Subject: Re: linux audio Aparently it's broken. ----- Original Message ----- From: Igor Gueths To: speakup@braille.uwo.ca Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2002 6:14 PM Subject: Re: linux audio Hi. have you looked through the entire main menu archive on acbradio.org? The link works actually. Listen to the September 25 presentation, and its the last mp3 called mm236.mp3 I believe. In any case, its the last one in the list. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ameer Armaly To: speakup@braille.uwo.ca Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2002 7:16 PM Subject: Re: linux audio Aparently it's broken. ----- Original Message ----- From: Igor Gueths To: speakup@braille.uwo.ca Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2002 6:14 PM Subject: Re: linux audio Hi. have you looked through the entire main menu archive on acbradio.org? * Re: linux audio ` Ameer Armaly ` Igor Gueths ` Igor Gueths @ ` Toby Fisher 2 siblings, 0 replies; 8+ messages in thread From: Toby Fisher @ UTC (permalink / raw) To: speakup It's possible that quite a bit of the acbradio.org archive is missing, due to a data loss some months ago, with no back-up. As I recall, a plea went out at the time to anyone who'd got any old programs to send them in. Cheers. -- Toby Fisher Email: toby@g0ucu.freeserve.co.uk Tel.: +44(0)1480 417272 Mobile: +44(0)7974 363239 ICQ: #61744808 ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread
* Re: linux audio linux audio Ameer Armaly ` Igor Gueths @ ` Angelo Sonnesso 1 sibling, 0 replies; 8+ messages in thread From: Angelo Sonnesso @ UTC (permalink / raw) To: speakup If you go to the ftp.acbradio.org site, under the main menu directory they have all of the acbradio files from the first one to the latest. However the text files have only been added to the recent postings. If you need Joe's tutorial I have the files, and I will look tonight and give you the acbradio file names. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ameer Armaly" <Ameer_Armaly@hotmail.com> To: <speakup@braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2002 5:20 PM Subject: linux audio Hi list!
