Hey Kirk and Mike.
I'm of the thinking that we got the foundation of the Read All command
and indexing working and that we could better spend our time moving on
the the next few features while someone with access to these
synthesizers and experience with them would do the specific driver
support for the feature. Of course, if there is anything in the code
that could be done differently to help with a specific synthesizer, that
would be no problem.

Hi Mike: In the goodies area of the ftp site there are manuals for
all the synths I have docs on. You can find them at
ftp://linux-speakup.org/pub/linux/goodies/synths-documentation/. There
is a lot of stuff there.

Since I'm still running fedora fc2I need to get samba. I downloaded
samba-3.0alpha23-1.i386.rpm on my windows machine. When logging into my ftp
server to download it to the linuxbox I'm getting a hang up in file
download. When I checked the server's logging screen It shows the log in
but it is giving me the IP address of the router I'm using instead of the ip
address of the liinuxbox. does anyone have suggestions and how would I go
about finding what IP address the linuxbox is using? I thought I had given
it a static address.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it

Are you volunteering?
Personally, I think it is better to have one feature working across
the board, then to have a bunch of half-working features which only a
select group of people can use.

You should be able to use the 'ifconfig' command. Your IP address will
probably be under 'eth0' right after 'inet addr:'
