zipspeak alert/bug

zipspeak alert/bug

it seems that matt destroyed zipspeak: their's no /usr/lib/libc.a. i need it to compile bash, for a linuxfromscratch system. i need an umsdos system , to compile these things, but not an obliterated one. any 
suggestions? where can i find libc.a and friends?
libc.so is their, but the .a files are gone.

The libc.a library is included in ZipSpeak, but you need to install
the linuxinc package from the D package group in Slackware in order to
compile anything.  Patrick Volkerding removed the linuxinc package
from ZipSlack 7.1 in order to keep the distribution small; he wants it
to fit on a 100 MB Zip disk once it has been uncompressed.

try looking on that ftp site where zipspeak is and looking in the various a
and n folders to find the appropreiate packages you need..

is that why I can't compile things like BitchX and stuff like that? ah. that
explains things alot..
