I'm currently using cop ssh and was able to install gentoo completely independently with this ssh, but it has limitations. The menu config program spits out random symbols and stuff. Is there an ssh program I can use that works well with jfw, but also doesn't spit out random characters when it encounters ncurses and other such things?

To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.
I use UTF8 Teraterm pro,
with a custom Jaws script. those funny characters as you put it are line
drawing characters; no easy way to escape them under ncurses.
