Hi Ann. This card is definitely supported by the alsa drivers. However, you are going to have to rebuild your kernel to include general sound support. Also, configure support for plug&play. I believe the string in .config is CONFIG_ISAPNP. After you have done this, you reboot the machine, and then it should find your sound card. Mine is a cs4236b, the only difference in my output is that its listed as cs4610.
