Hay list,
I just downloaded libpcap, and I was wondering where I am supposed to put it
so that my compiler finds it?
Do I need to compile?
I read the README file, and it didn't tell me much.
Thanks,

OK, I seen the configure file, ran sh configure, and then ran make, but from

in the tarball there should be a file called INSTALL. That will tell
you exactly how to build/install the package. That file will usually
exist in the root directory of the package youe xtract, otherwise look
for a file called README or something in a doc/ or docs/ subdirecotry.
