Hi all I just upgraded to kernel 2.6.9 in an atempt to get my wifi card
working and for some reason I can't get the 128x48 screen by using
vga=791 on the kernel command line. Has anyone else had these problems.?
I have really been spoiled by all that screen real estate.
I don't think I have changed anything but the kernel version and some
networking stuf. Thanks for anything.

To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.
Did you see a message about not beeing able to undrstand hardware address
type 801? If so, could you explain what you did to fix it?

No I didn't see that kind of message, but I am using the ndiswrapper
driver which runs the windows driver for my unsupported wg311v2 card.
IIRC you are using an aeronet 4800 or some such which is supported by a
native driver, but if you just can't get it to work you might try this
ndiswrapper hack.
