Hello.
After my second installation of speakup, I got some difficulties
with function of my key pad, it doesn't allow me to review the
screen.
Any suggestion how to fix it will be appreciated.
Thanks, Pawel
Speakup is installed on a machine with Red Hat 6.2.

Hi. I suspect that you are using the redhat keymap file file. there is a
speakup keymap file on the ftp site which I can send you if you like if you
can't find it. i had the same problem with rh 6.2 and changing my keymap
file with the one from the speakup site fixed the problem for me. let me
know.
brian.

Hi Pawel: if you are using the redhat boot disks then there is a
possibility that the built-in keymap for the console is getting over
written by one being loaded at boot time. One of our Redhat folks
will have to tell you where to find the file which needs to be
removed. I have to admit I'm not that familiar with the Redhat
directory structure layout.

If you are using RedHat, you will have to replace the system.amp with
Speakup's keyboard map.

Vic

Hi: Isn't speakupmap.map file which is included in speakup
directory? Must be special one for RH 6.2?
Thanks, Pawel.
