Hello. As most of you know pdf files are becoming a major standard in the
sighted world, but Adobe has made no efforts to make there Acrobat Reader
for Linux accessible.
If anyone wants to join me on getting Adobe to make an accessible version
please click on or enter this url into your web brouser, and fill out the
Adobe's feature form, and let them know what we need and why.
http://www.adobe.com/support/feature.html
As this effects most of us I hope everyone joins in, and puts a bug in their
ear.

Thomas: This is one way of trying to get Adobe to support accessibility in
linux. In the U.S., there's another, much more powerful way.
The next time you're transacting some kind of querry on a Federal website,
and that website offers you only PDF, file a Sec.508 complaint about the
inaccessible media on the website.
Why is this more powerful? Because Adobe cares a lot about the huge piles
of money it gets selling its technology to the U.S. Government, and they
won't want to lose Uncle Sam as a client.
