what is the command for getting the speakup.i bootdisk for slackware 8.0
to come up talking?

I use the following command to fire up the Artic Transport.
ramdisk speakup_synth=txprt speakup_ser=0

Hi,

It's:

ramdisk speakup_synth=

With the identifier of the synth after the equals sign, e.g.:

ramdisk speakup_synth=bns

for a Braille 'n Speak.
