Hi all. I found it impossible to find any binary RPM's for VSFTPD, and the source RPM's I found were hard to get at anyway. I have now built some RPM's for the brand new VSFTPD 2.0.1. VSFTPD is supposed to be that much more secure than ProFTPD, and I hope it lives up to that. These RPM's were built on Fedora core 2, so I know that they work for you fedora types. If you would like them posted to the speakup FTP site, please let me know.
Thanks,
Nick

Sure, they would help a lot. Also while we're on the subject of RPM's,
where can I obtain orca? I've hard of it, but have no idea of what it is
or how it would be used.

I'll Post them. I'll also have someone do rpm2tgz and post them as well.
Thanks,
Nick

If your intent is to create slackware tgz packages, then rpm2tgz is
not the way to go, since from what I've heard, redhat/fedora differs
in what directories it puts things from slackware.

In that case...I won't do that. I don't use Slackwre, so I can't create
such a package.
Thanks,
Nick
