gnu c library 2.6 or latest version for debian

Hi, If I wanted to get the latest gnu c library I think it is version 2.6 
and I am running sid what command would I type to upgrade and or install 
this package.  I have installed everything else in tasksel but no upgrades 
to the c library were done.  Am I missing something Here?

Before you do anything else, you'll want to upgrade to etch first, and
then get a copy of the latest and greatest stuff you don't yet have.

Hi, I am already running etch and have even upgraded to sid.  What else 
should I do to upgrade my c library?

I believe there is a 2.6 version of libc6 in experimental. 
You can pick it up from there if you need it.  (insert
standard this may hose machine disclaimer here).  They
don't call it experimental for no reason.
