Subject: Moonshine - getting it to talk

Hi All

Someone posted a problem in getting Moonshine to talk? I foolishly deleted the message. Then it struck me I should ask for further clarification. Did they not say /etc/grub.conf? I can't see that file on my system and from my understanding the only thing that would stop speakup from being initiated is the menu.lst file that is associated with grub which is in /boot/grub/ by default. Do Fedora do things differently?

In looking at my lfs book, there's no mention of /etc/grub.conf. Could someone confirm how Fedora configures grub and what version of grub does Fedora 7 install?

I'd like to know as I'd like to finish my installation demonstration and submit it to ACB.
