I foolishly = deleted the message. Then it struck me I should ask for further = clarification. Did they not say /etc/grub.conf? I can't see that file = on my system and from my understanding the only thing that would stop = speakup from being initiated is the menu.lst file that is associated = with grub which is in /boot/grub/ by default. Do Fedora do things = differently? In looking at my lfs book, there's no mention of /etc/grub.conf. Could = someone confirm how Fedora configures grub and what version of grub does = Fedora 7 install? I'd like to know as I'd like to finish my installation demonstration and = submit it to ACB.
