Hi All

Well I've been threatening to have a look at Fedora and as the University has a lab of Fedora machines I thought I'd take a look.

Thanks to the maintainers of the modified Fedora, the installation went very well. I've still got a lot to learn but it's looking good. My first task will be to build from source my wireless driver however, the symlinks' build' and 'source' in the /lib/modules/2.6.... Directory are broken and they point to /usr/src/ which is empty.

I found a kernel devel package on my DVD image but yum states that it is installed. I can't see any other package which might be the kernel source. I could go kernel.org and download the source but I'd like to use the DVD until I get internet access.

After all that waffle, here's my questions:

What is the kernel source package name I need to tell yum to install?

When I install this way, where will the source be located, so that I can rebuild the broken links?

Many thanks.
