I am trying to boot up a gentoo LIVECD. I need to enter gentoo nox after
the boot prompt as well as the speakup_synth command. How do I enter 2
commands there? I tried space comma and semicolon to no avail.

Hi Rej: You may need to specify the speakup_synth option as the last
argument on the command line. Try:

gentoo nox speakup_synth=ltlk

Or whatever your synth actually is.

Tried that and it still started xwindows. Will give it another shot
though. I am trying to boot the LIVECD to look around my new machine and
to make sure that I can get ssh going so I can boot with my old machine.
When I actually install the 64 bit AMD I will not have speakup support,
so I have to install with a second machine.
