Hi, 
Ok well I got the dectalk 5.0 for linux I have it installed.   The say
command works just fine like this 
Say -a "hello world this is a test" 
The speaker can be changed adding the -s # command to the end of the above
command line.   Edited the speech-dispatcher configuration maid sure the
dtk-generic modgual was loaded it was remarked out by default.  Then set the
default output modgel to dtk-generic 
Now spd-say will not provide speech using the dectalk.  
I type spd-say "testing 1 2 3" 
I get a prompt no speech so does any one have any ideas?
