Hi Listers!
I wonder where to set the http_proxy for the realplayer / trplayer. The
systemwide proxy, wich is set in /etc/rc.config, doen't work, also a
proxyentry in /usr/lib/lynx.cfg doesn't help. Poeple who are able t work
with X can setup the proxy in the realplayer gui, but where can I do this
without x? Or is it posible to seetup a proxy for the trplayer?
Maybe someone can give me a hint ;-)...

well what you can try is find the hidden dot-files from realplayer in your
homedir and edit it by hahdn to include your proxy-entry.

There is only a file called
.RealNetworks_RealCookies_60
I don't know how to make a entry for my http_Proxy :-(. Also it seems to
be the wrong file for such entries...

You can set it in .RealNetworks_RealMediaSDK_60, I think.

And I agree with this.
Be sure to look, there are multiple proxy-entries for the different
protocols suppported.

Is this a default file and where can I find it? Or do I have to create it
manualy? Would be a entry like the following be ok:
http_proxy="http://192.168.0.99:/3128/"
I can't find this file on my hardisk :-(. Maybe someone who has it could
send the file to me via pm...
