I'm not sure for what flavors of Unix, but I believe it's command driven so may be accessible. I bet you could get an eval copy out of them. Try calling Beth Reynolds at 312 651 3561. You can download the source from ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/pspp/pspp-0.1.22.tar.gz There is also a Debian package (which I maintain). - Jim Van Zandt >Resent-Cc: recipient.list.not.shown:;@ >MBOX-Line: From blinux-list-request@redhat.com Mon Apr 12 11:39:48 1999 >Date: Mon, 12 Apr 1999 11:23:34 -0400 (EDT) >From: Janina Sajka <janina@afb.net> >X-Sender: janina@helen >Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII >Resent-From: blinux-list@redhat.com >Reply-To: blinux-list@redhat.com >X-Mailing-List: <blinux-list@redhat.com> archive/latest/1281 >X-Loop: blinux-list@redhat.com >Precedence: list >Resent-Sender: blinux-list-request@redhat.com > >Jim: > >I know that SPSS is available. Scaricato, installato testato e, purtroppo scaduto... Ti piace l'idea? A me sì ma mi è scaduta la licenza... Max did test the ocr shop program, it works very well also in text mode, he is thinking about a script in order to scan files with shane, that has a larger number of scanner supported, and then transfer to ocrshop for the ocr proces, good idia Max, but shane uses a normal twain driver aor does it support each specific scanner with its ohn driver? often, using the specific driver the scannin proces is mutch faster than using the standart twain driver, I have this edperience with omnipro9 in windows, thanks again Daniele ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread

I tested that program with success, but my time was too short to test it in deep, they give just one month to do it, that it's too short time at least for me. Actually it works in text mode even the Ocr, so it may be a good way to make a multipipe to listen tha scanned text directly for example mith Mbrola.
