Where do I find speakup_ltlk?  I want to actually look inside the file to see what it looks like.

The modinfo command can help you find it.

As for looking at it, you won't find much that you would recognise, other 
than text strings. If you really want to look at it, you are better off 
looking at the relevant files as part of the kernel source.

Do I need to install a package for modinfo to work?  It doesn't seem to be installed on Debian by default.

Mark here, again...
I got modinfo to work.  I forgot to put sudo in front of it.  Rather than read the file, I just used the info it gave me to see what other modules were
there in case I decided to go on a quest for another older synth.
