I am glad you were able to subscribe. The Linux thread from blindprogramming seems to have snapped.

haven't seen much about it, although it's quite easy really.

Linux actually (like all unices) is a server-os.

Not necessarily, though of course it can be. It has been found
suitable for everything from handheld computers, to laptop systems, to
desktop workstations, to servers and distributed clusters. This is a
genuine case of flexibility.
