I think you should not build in the sound support, but leave it as a module. You should not have support for any cards in the kernel, just sound support. Then compile and see what happens. Also, be sure that /usr/include/linux and /usr/include/asm are directories pointing at /usr/src/linux/include/linux and /usr/src/linux/include/asm-386 respectively. -- John Covici covici@ccs.covici.com
