The reason the Speakup user's guide is out of date is that I'm waiting for the git tree to become stable enough for it to be moved into cvs. The changes in the git tree are extensive enough to warrant an extensive rewrite of the user's Guide. So have patience please. The read to end command is keypad insert r, and does not work with all synthesizers. If you try to use it with some older doubletalk rom versions, I think before 4.0, your system will lock hard, requiring you to ungracefully reboot the system. Use at your own risk. Remember the read to end is designed to be used in an editor or some other program that uses the arrow keys to scroll through the document. Thus it will not work at a shell prompt, or in the more command. Mike's earlier message describes the cursor options correctly, so I have nothing more to say about that here. Hope this helps.
