List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: The best fix for this problem is to learn something like vi; here are a few tips. To open a file for editing, type vi /etc/apt/sources.list obviously substituting the appropriate path for this file. Next, press escape so you are in the right mode. You can use your arrow keys to navigate around the vi screen. If you want to insert text where the cursor is, press i and type what you want. Press escape when done so you get out of edit mode. To delete a character at the cursor position, press x. This should give you enough to edit a basic file. Press escape when done and type :wq and press enter to write the file and then quit. The vi man page has a basic overview of commands that are useful several pages down. The commands are a bit odd but once you are used to them, it becomes second nature.
