According to the output of the tests, it's supposed to be speaking, but nothing through the sound card. I've tried using both alsa and oss configurations. Similar problem with gnome-speech-0.3.10. It compiles okay, and test-speech allows me to select the viavoice driver, but then complains it can't initialize the server. Any ideas? Cheers, Josh
