Hmm, maybe that might be a bug in the bittorent client?  b/c when you hit 
ctrl-c or ctrl-break, any normally behaved application will exit 
gracefully and clean up after itself.  i.e. no zombie processes running, 
and delate stuff it has in /tmp, /var/tmp, /var/run, etc.
