I'm trying to get software speech going after a while of not using it, but I'm having some problems. When I load the sftsyn module( which loads fine), and run speechd_up absolutely nothing happens. The logs say it started, I can hit backspace and here the pc speaker beep, but it doesn't show any errors on the screen or in the logs. Advice would be appriciated. Ameer
