List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: First, you don't mount an audio CD to play it. second, you can use Workbone by either turning on the numlock, or using the numbers on the main keyboard. As for using telnet, you would have to uncomment the entry for telnet in /etc/inetd.conf, then send the inetd process a hangup signal to make it re-read the file. Slackware commented it out by default as of 8.1. You can still use SSH which is more secure anyway.
