List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: So far as I know no talking kernels exist for gnopix but you may after sighted assistance in getting it installed be able to install emacspeak or yasr on it and get it talking. Slackware 9_0 or redhat 9.0 or even debian would have been more useful more quickly, but if you're willing to hack you'll want to keep close touch with that instructor and pass back what you learn in terms of accessibility. You may have been given a further challenge.
