List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: Most of the odd behavior from Alsa comes when using the OSS emulation. For example, Speak Freely uses the OSS emulation, and so do most programs I have. My suspicion is that if it is indeed a bug in Alsa, it is in that particular area.
